Australia map

Looking for a large Australian map for planning our trip next year, need some thing that would be good as an overall view. Have books of Hema maps so that's covered. Looked in the shop would the Australia's Outback Adventure Map be the shot. Would rather buy off this site if I can.

Hi David,

Just had a look in the shop. The map you mention should be fine as would the Hema Australia map - large for $9.45. The only other consideration is whether you might want to get a laminated map which is rather more durable if you want to hang it on the wall and record your trips on it. Most decent bookshops would have maps including laminated ones though they do cost more.

I have a large wall map produced by Hema that I use for planning trips (in macro). It is laminated and I bought it at a camping store near KFC in Ballina NSW ave few years back. I also use is as a "brag" wall in my home office to show all the trips I've done.

HEMA have what they call the Australia Supermap which I think Patrol22 is referring to. It measures about 1400 x 1200 and is available laminated or unlaminated for around $70.00 for the laminated one.

I got mine from ExplorOz a few years ago now but they are no longer listed. Maybe drop David a note and ask if they can put them back in the shop.

Hi David my husband and I where in ARB a couple of months ago and they had a large Australian map laminated on their wall I'm pretty sure they had them for sale.

Thanks all had another look in the shop and brought one of there's so when it arrives can start getting the pencil out and scribbling.
