I have a Polaris navigation system that uses a card for the map. Can I purchase other cards to suit from different sources or do I need to purchases from Polaris only.

Hi

Not familiar with that particular system but typically GPS systems of that type have proprietary format maps - meaning they have created their own format and therefore you will need to deal with them (or their authorised dealers). All part of their business plan.

Also not familiar with your system but often you can simply upgrade the maps on the card you have. If you are running OziExplorer on your system just add new maps to the "maps" subdirectory on the card. (The new maps would have to be Ozi compatible of course but most are)
