Gday
Well what a great day in Mandurang. All arrived on time except me , as Kath,I and lil Wes stopped for a cuppa in Kilmore. After many photo's of the monolith at the centre of Victoria,Wes , Murray R and Bonz found a Geo Cache , Scrubby then took us to a fire lookout and another half hour of chatting by all. Then Scrubby put on a brilliant display of 'doh nuts and wheelies' just before all went to the One Tree Hill hotel for a quiz and a session of glutany. The quiz was won by Bonz after he bribed me for a few answers.
Door prizes were given by EO and all now have a 'mouse pad and coaster'. Bonz has a new beeny and a bottle of plonk to use as a paper weight.

Hey Muzbry

You failed to give me the special prize for being the first their.

Espically when I went to the trouble of getting there exactly 24 hrs before anyone else.

Seeing we were so far ahead of the crowd , we decided to spend a lovely day playing in the mines and checking out the top ten cappicino shops in Bendigo before finding a motel.

So we managed to turn a potential disaster into a fun time.

We also were able to practise emergency drill - and just got to Bigw before closing time so we could get some hairspray and other necessities of life.

But it was comforting to see everyone else turn up the next day and we all enjoyed the company, thanks.

Robin & Anne

P.S. The mouse pad is working though, thanks EO.

P.P.S. The coasters were also useful to stop the dinner table from rocking and spilling Scrubbies beer.

Good morning
I didn't want to embarras you and Ann for being a day early. But you were almost not on your own as one other well known member rang me and asked about Saturday lunch.

Extract from earlier (somewhat prophetic) post ....

Robin Miller replied:
Sounds interesting Muz - will plan for it.

We are likely to be first there as the oversize T04 was bolted inplace ....

Those 400 killer wasps worked wonders!
