I received a message from somebody asking about the safety of leaving a van at the Mt Carbine CP. I deleted the message by mistake and forgot who asked me the question so I am posting the reply here. Robert the manager lives a stones throw from where your van would be stored. Also the
park is not in a very populated area so any strangers stick out like sore thumbs. I could not think of a safer place. Ring Robert and get him to explain it to you, he is a very helpful bloke.
