William Creek

I spent a couple of nights in William Creek last week and was very pleased with the new management. Diesel was $1.98 a litre and drink prices were equivalent to home. The food was great and the staff were all friendly and entertaining. It was a great experience
to spend time there while the roads were closed from the rain and capped off a great trip to watch the Finke Desert race

Good to hear some positives Les, instead of grumblings about ancient history.

Some of our staff are heading down there over the weekend for a visit, I'll make sure they pass on the compliments.

We called through William Creek a couple of weeks ago on our way to the Finke Race also.
Never been there before but we were also very happy with price of food, drinks and diesel.

Was a lovely trip and can't wait to get up there again some day.

Never liked the fact that you had to pay at public loo's next to it Les .

Some things like that should be part of running of any business or small town.

Tend to aviod places where there isn't some way to enjoy a fire as well.

Hi Robin,

Toilets are free at William Creek and the fire is lit every night in the dining room.
