Guys

I currently run BFG 225/75 AT KOs on my manual, 98 Tdi Disco. l also have Konis and King Springs all round, giving a 50mm lift. Clearance is fine even under extreme articulation (after a very small trim job on rear inside panels). After 60k my ATs are getting pretty worn what with the usual chipping etc after the Cape, Simpson, etc so I am seeking details as to whether anyone runs BFG 225/75 MTs, preferably on a Disco? If so, how do you find the life / additional highway noise / clearance etc?

Cheers

Steve

I run 235/85 MTR's on a 97 tdi. I have a mate who runs BFG MT's in same size (I know a little bigger than you asked) and the MTR's are quieter and more solid in wet road conditions ...in both of our opinions.

I used to run BFG AT's

Noise of MTR's is not an issue, except around corners at speed, you wouldn't really know.

Trimming was required but not very much after pushing the quard out a little as per discoweb.

hope that helps.

D,
I put Cooper ST 245/75s on my D11a 2 days ago. No probs yet :-) They give a one inch lift and look more serious than the Michy's. Unless you do a lot of mud work I can't see the need to go to the BFG MT or Cooper STTBob
