tanami

Spend the last 3 days from Alice springs to hall's creek on the tanami, the road conditions, when they good, they are good but when they bad ,they are very bad. I survived it with just a broken u bolt happy and safe travels

G'day Gaz. I'll be travelling the tanami in a few days time with a 100 series towing a small off road caravan. Is the track wet at all ? When you say bad, what does that mean exactly ? Thanks bob.

Hi bob, sorry for not getting back sooner, I've had no signal for a while.as far as the tsunami road, you shouldn't have any drama. The road from Alice is tar for about blast100k till you hit the dirt and some tar between. The worst parts are towards W A, trucks have churned it up a bit. I saw quite a few van coming from WA.so keep your type pressure down an carry u bolt and spares have a great trip, it's an interesting place cheers

Sense of humor is a great gift for some, I'm sure bob will appreciate after travelling the tanami because the dust is like a tsunami following your car . Cheers
