Hop in for your frozen chop

I was just at Anaconda and at the front door there was a bunch of series 3 Primus 60l fridge / freezers marked down from $600. They are sturdy, great thick insulation, digital temp setting, wireless thermometer, drain plug, average 0.75A etc. They look remarkably like a National Luna which I have, and which is IMHO the best fridge you can get.

Primus 200l

I have been thinking about a second fridge for a while and went back to the front door after about 10 mins to measure them. Maybe I could get one I thought. Nat a bad price for a good fridge.

I could not believe my eyes, it had been marked down again. This time to $200. I grabbed a brand new one right away as 2 had already disappeared.

The manager told me that the 40, 60 and 80l had all been marked down to $200 to make way for the new models. I believe it is all stores.

Hurry.

At that price it woudl make a decent esky with that great insulation.

Oops I meant to say they were marked down from $1400 to $600 ( and then $200). They are brand new in boxes.

hi mike
that also shows just how much mark -up is on them and how much consumers are being ripped off when paying the full normal price

yes its the quick or the dead syndrome again
been at the right place at the right time sure is a gain
but its only a bargain if your really going to use it otherwise
it just becomes another item sitting in the shed that was cheap
cheers

Hmm let me think about that for a microsecond...

Nope.

It's been working off my camper and used about 14AH over 24 hours. Not too shabby. Even though it is winter.

Big thanks to Boobook. Just picked up an 80L from Newcastle store. Still one left there. Also have transit bags for $10.00 although Newcastle had sold out of them.

Cheers

Not a bad fridge either huh?

At $1000 it would still be a steal.

My old man has one he brought last year as a "show special" for $1,200. Needless to say he was none too happy when I let him know last night.

I actually went back yesterday arvo and got the last one. Was still there as they didn't have the prices marked - even the sales person didn't know they had been marked down until they checked the computer.

Cheers
