Hello Rare.
I travelled the Inside Track 13th June and it was in good condition. I also did the Warburton Track on 17th June and it was also open and in good condition. However a sign advising it is closed was present on the southern end.

As well as this site, there are 2 govt sites to find current up-to-date info:
Desert Parks Bulletin
and
http://www.dpti.sa.gov.au/OutbackRoads

Both open.

The Check Roads Conditions reports on this site are a good enough place to start!

I just found this in Desert Parks Bulletin, No. 462 – 25 June 2013 bulletin dated 24 June 2013.

DESERT PARKS BULLETIN, NO. 462, 25th June 2013

"Simpson Desert – Open to 4WD with caution. Warburton Crossing open."

And as an addition it is interesting to see what follows.

"Use caution along the French Line as a group with trailers have recently cut up the track."

Hi Rare
I am currently at the Birdsville Caravan park and have just travelled the Birdsville inside track with a 79 series LC towing a 14'6 caravan it was a very easy trip we took 4 days spending time in some good bush camps. The track is mostly well graded the southern end a little rough at the start in the gibber then a few corrugations until you reach the sandy track all in all very easy.
We saw the Road Closed sign at the southern end of Warburton track it was permanently errected and looked like it had been there for a while. seems to me no one has bothered to change it. The country we travelled was very dry.

Hope this helps.
Cheers
