No. 2 son purchased an 80 Series Landcruiser 6 months ago and 3 weeks ago and was gifted a replacement set of Rancho 5000's purchased from 4WD1 of
Castle Hill NSW, who also distribute 'Tough Dog' shocks.
Well he was unhappy with them, thought the car a bit spongy and phoned 4WD1 yesterday and politely said he wasn't happy. They suggested he should bring in the Ranchos and they would be more than happy to change them over to the 41 mm
bore 'Tough Dogs (which would be more suitable) cost an extra $20. That has now been done and he is a very happy fellow.
Isn't that great service and commitment??

Good to here about great service,I ran toughdogs on a trip along the gunbarrel and blew a brand new Tough dog 150 klm after
Wiluna.Didnt get any joy in Alice and ended up hav'ing to buy a ajustable one.hope he has a better run with them.

There is lot of negativity towards tough dog shocks because their early versions suffered a high failure rate. I believe they fixed them quite some time ago and they are
well regarded now. I've had the 45mm adjustables on my rig for about 30,000 K's and am impressed with their performance.
