I've got a 3400, the selcall ident displays fro a second when you turn the unit on. It is also the last 5 digits of the serial number. Some units have a 4 didgit selcall, some five. Hope this helps.

I have the TX4200 and the selcall number is:

Printed on the label affixed to the rear of the radio

or

Press "call" button briefly to select 'call to' mode
briefly press the 'squelch' kmob this should then display ths selcall number
Press the 'call' button again to return to normal operation

i had one of these units only a little while ago

the selcall number is on a sticker on the back panel. it is only 4 digits. the reason for this is that (i believe) all gme units have their first digit as 1, and so if you are communicating with another gme unit, you only need the 4 digits. however, if you are working with someone on a different brand set, your selcall id is '1xxxx', where xxxx is the 4 digits on the back of the unit

cheers, tim c

Munny,
if you cant find the no take it to radio mob such as Electric bug in Adelaide but i reckon there must be someone in the mount who can reprogramme the no for you.
Wow, am I cute! The extra long legs are built-in prevention against ducks disease. Great looks and a real goer. Doesnt waddle along like some.
