Hi we are going to do part of the Binns Track from Alice Springs To Tennant Creek over 4 days at the end of July just wondering if anyone has recently done that part of the track and if they have a plot suitable for TrackRanger.
200 Series V8 Diesel
Thanks for the Rest Flying West and Flying Very Low along the track not coming back. The Crow

Not sure if this will be of any help, but we did the section from Plenty Hwy up to Tennant Ck last year. You will not have any trouble following most of this, but there is one section where the track bypasses Derry Downs station (about 90 km north of the Plenty Hwy) by crossing the Bundey R, then traveling along a "goat track" on the western side of the river for about 10 km. This is a 4WD road, rocky, narrow with scratchy vegetation.
We do recommend a detour to Tower Rock first (take the road west towards Mt Swan station). There is a very basic camping area there.
Cheers,
John
