Also have you ever had the experience of agonising over what price to put on something, finally coming up with an amount you think is fair maybe plus a bit to allow potential buyers a bit of "haggle room" and the first bloke can't get his wallet out fast enough, usually followed by 10 others that are so sorry they missed out ??
You then spend the next week kicking yourself for not going higher. (:-((

Cheers

Yes Axle if what you are selling is in above av condition. Young bloke who brought by old jack feel in love at first sight. Had a bloke ring me a few days before who could not get over till the following weekend. The young bloke pulled out a wad of notes, for full price as I reckon a bird in the hand is worth 10 in the bush.
Anyhow the other blokes rings me, and was almost in tears when I told him it was gone. A good detail and the Mcquires treatment works wonders. First time its ever happened though.
Cheers Pete

See if the missus would like Superpatrol - its not as tough as it looks and going cheap this week after shattering a transfer case at Readies 4X4 mud mania yesterday.

P.S. I might throw in some free mechanics to sweeten the deal.

Axle,
A young mate just flew up to Clermont and picked up a 2006 GLX turbo Landcruiser.

The owners said seeing you have a young family they knocked of $1000 on the spot.

Wait for it he paid $32000 for it. Now that is a good buy.

Bought a quality near-new mountain bike on an ebay auction a few years ago. Ended up getting it for much (much) less than it was worth. The seller was a nice bloke and I felt like I was ripping him off so I gave him a bit more than the winning bid - still quite a bit less than it was worth but we both felt better for it.Swings and roundabouts I guess - how badly do you want it or want to be rid of it will always affect the price.
