Hi all

Haven't been to the pool for at least 7 or so years and am wondering if there is a Telstra signal there now.

I have checked the nearest Next G towers and it is eitherYeeda station tower as the closest (about 14km line of sight) or the RAAF base the next followed by Derby itself.

I expect a mast and reasonable antennae will be required and even then it may only work up near the old Pole downstream from the main camping area (which is lower terrain wise)

Perhaps someone can enlighten update me please?

Thanks

I will tell you when we get there tomorrow!!! If we don't get back to you, take it as no service.

Not many at all. Road is average that's for sure. Weather is too, blowing and bit cold. Other than those few issues it's paradise!!!

Hi sam h6

I have a mate currently in Broome asking me which is the best track in?.....we have both been there several times but not recently...then we towed camper trailers

this time he has a 20' caravan and from memory the track in closest to Broome had some clearance issues with a 'van

which way in would you recommend he use towing the 'van?

Thanks for your trouble

Mate I am probably not the best person to ask for advice seeing as this is our first visit. We came in on a track 21km before the roadhouse on Broome side, then followed the most used track in. The track is poor but ok if taken steady. Our van is 23' and had no trouble, although we ended up stay up river further as its a bit squashed for room at the telegraph.

thanks.....I have passed the details on....

sounds like the track we normally use (behind a gate that used to have a notice about no entry mustering in progress or similar)

cheers
