I need copies of these sales brochures to resolve an issue that I am having with TMR (Transport and Main Roads -Qld). If anybody could scan and post or PM me that would be great. I probably don't need the entire brochure, just the face page and the tabulated specification page.
I certify modifications and TMR are claiming that the 5/6
seat wagon versions cannot be upgraded to 8/9 by the addition of the genuine Toyota third row seating that was supplied originally on the 8
seat wagons. Their issue is that the particular converted vehicles were not equipped with SRS airbags, so they believe the vehicles cannot comply with ADR69 (full frontal impact protection). The 5/6
seat variants are classified as goods vehicles and don't have to comply with ADR69, whereas the 8
seat versions did have to be ADR69 compliant because they were classified as off-road passenger vehicles. They assume that ADR69 compliance requires SRS.
The point is that some of the pov pac versions of the 8 seaters did not have the SRS airbags as standard equipment about 2002 anyway. So therefore the frontal structure and occupant protection features were ADR69 compliant without SRS airbags.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you looked on Ebay, there was a 100 series sales brochure on there a couple of weeks ago.

Maybe approach Toyota Australia. See if they have any in the archives and ask if they can send you originals or copies.
Cheers

Thanks Paul. That is a great and useful site, and I'm positive I'll be going back there fro reference. Unfortunately it does not provide the absolute evidentiary value that I need because it is for the USA jurisdiction.

Gary what you'll be after is the spec sheet for the 105 series RV (not the 100 series which is IFS). It had the 8 seats fitted but air bags were never an option.
Sorry don't have the brochure.
Cheers Craig...........

I have compilied a complete list of all
information that I have regarding Australian compliance 100/105 model codes and specification from compliance data (Excel spreadsheet). Also done a model decode for the Aus models (Drawing format). I could post these in PDF form if anybody would be interested, and could tell me howto. I am a newbie to this
forum.
Thanks for your response Crackles

Thanks Steve, that would be great. I'll try and PM you with my email address. I'm not sure but I suspect that it is unwise/dicsouraged to broadcast one's email openly on this or any other
forum.

It looks like a PM is not possible for a registered visitor. I have to do some other kind of registration process 2B able to PM. So I'll post my email here and see how that goes. geebow@bigpond.net.au.
Thanks Steve

I have a brochure printed June 2003 which shows there is no 3rd row
seat option on the Std -it is only available as a 6 seater (3+3) plus it does come with 2 airbags. Doesn't help your case. I can scan and email if you want. Mike.
