John,

All your camping should be pre booked at the following website:

...we were there last year, and the Rangers were pretty "active" as well. No booking & you got moved on!

Cheers

Hello Wally

Just wondering is your caravan an offroad - I have had many differing answers as to taking an offroad van up the PDR.

We are leaving to do the cape early August.
Your advice about taking an offroad van would be appreicated.

Hello Sueb, our caravan is a Windsor Genisis Ofroad, from what is evident the chassis has extra reinforcement which lifts the van higher and it also has 16inch wheels with 265/75 tyers which also gives it more ground clearance. The only trouble we had was one of the wires on the brake magnets broke off.The biggest lesson I learnt was when the sign says DIP you must slow right down or learn the hard way like I did and the whole lot got airborn.Dont think it do it and have a good time.If the road gets too rough lower the tyer pressures on the van and car.Wally

Hello Wally

Thank you for the advice and we will slow down when we see the sign DIP. Glad to hear you made it thru safe and sound.
Well looking forward to trip and hope this will be the first of many.
