Fixed mine under the front bull bar"ARB" was the only place it would go and have the inlet and outlet on the front bar as well works great also went for a longer than normal heat exchanger because the Patrol runs a little cool, there was just no room under the bonnet and in hind site its not a bad place for it to be if a hose should blow.

Hi jtb, I installed a Twine in my Pathy and it was dead easy.

What you need to do is contact Getabout Tours (twine distributors) and ask them to email the installation instructions and pictures for your vehicle.

They have heaps of different vehicles on file and I'd be surprised if they didn't have the Defender included.

They had the Pathy instructions and custom brackets for the install all ready to go when I contacted them. Hope this helps. (contact info at www.getabout.com.au oe www.twine4wdshowers.com.au [same contact details]) Hope this helps. CheersMoggs ( Normanhurst NSW)

Ah yes and if you purchased it from us we would have been able to provide the information from the beginning. There are some pics on our Accessories - Shower page that show the install in our 80 series. Also note the Getabout and Twine are paid advertisers on ExplorOz. SO go to Business Search and keyword Twine.Regards

Whats the problem you are having . . . .

Offroader.com.au have a writeup on installing a McPauls (Piranaha) HE . . . all are very similar , that might give you some ideas.

JT

Are you still using the factory battery? It's one hugh mother.
Had a bit of a look but couldn't see enough space.

More details please, as I'd like to fit the aux there also. Did on previous Fenders ....... rjnicoll@powerup.com.au

Thanks
