Need a good diesel mechanic in Canberra

G'day - recently had Cooma Diesel Service (in Canberra, not Cooma) have a look at my 1993 200Tdi Disco which was blowing excessive smoke and down on power despite clean air/fuel filters and using Caltex/BP diesel along with a fuel treatment. They insisted on running the vehicle on a dyno and charged me $250 to tell me what I already knew - i.e. vehicle is blowing excessive smoke and down on power. They said it could be injectors (although these are fairly new) or fuel pump which I already knew as well... Not very helpful... Does anyone know of a good diesel mechanic in Canberra region who might be a bit more proactive in fixing rather than just theorising about the problem...
