At the end of August i will be heading to Adels Grove,my question is i have a 26ft van towed by a Ford F 250 are the sites big enough for me to fit in.Im not concerned about the road going into
Lawn Hill as the van has been built for rough roads.
Cheers

from memory, I'd say you'd be a bit tight at
Lawn Hill but probably ok at Adels Grove. Doubt you'd get in lower down near the stream but should find a spot up at the top.
Give em a call.

Hi Humpback
Phone Adel's a day or two before to ensure they are not fully booked. Do you mean 26' internal or external with your caravan? Our rig is almost 14 metres overall and the site we had was roomy enough for us.

I'm sure they would have sites to fit, but whether vacant at that time of the year I do not know. I recommend booking a day or two beforehand. We were there late August when things had quietened down.

We were there last October and had no problems our rig is 14.5 meters. It was also relatively quite when we were there and we were able to choose our site. some sites may have been a little difficult getting in with our rig.
Kind regards

Where we were, sites were spread out in 'flower' pattern and we had the whole flower to ourselves.

Hi MotherHen, yes we were also lucky that way in that the sites opposite us were empty and this gave us the room to manoeuvre into the generous spot.
Kind regards

We had a Generator Site at Adels Grove last year and had no problem with our 20ft6in van. As stated the sites in the generator area are splayed out so you have no-one behind you so if your van overhangs the site area it does not matter. Your van would fit in OK.

Hi humpback we were at Edels grove 2 weeks ago, we were in the dog / generator section with other couple we were traveling with, the 2 spots we were given were to tight for us, so changed spots no problem, if you don't have generator or a dog I would recommend booking into the site called
the grove much more grass as other sites are dirt , stoney. The road was good slight coragation , the dog section has big sites as
well if you have a dish licker, the staff are very helpful , do the kayake paddle at
Lawn Hill great.have a good time.
