Overnight the water dropped to 7.70 metres. Hot today, high humidity and no wind. Pelicans all fishing out the front - a good sign (of pelicans fishing!). No sign of the
brolgas and their babies - hope we didn't frighten them off with all the
recipes. Some aerial shots (digital) being taken tomorrow of the waters and hope to post them (surely the software problem will be fixed) - there's a plane coming from
Melbourne and
Adelaide with a couple of different digital cameras on board.

Hello Ruth
Yep the plane is coming tell Ian to have the ice ready. I am acting as official guide for the floodwater spotting crew and we are hoping to pick up some stories etc for SA papers . Hoping to be able to bring some freshly cooked blue swimmer crabs if these fullas don't eat em all. Looking forward to arrival and seeing so much floodwater.
