Hi Rebecca,

yes you do, and there are signs and a bin, but there is no one there checking, unlike the other way.

cheers

When we came down the Tanami last year I can't recall there being anything and no one checking.

But I guess one does need to do the right thing though

cheers

I don't think that is quite right.........It depends on the area your travelling into and what type of produce.
Eg. Ti Tree is a fruit fly free zone. So I wouldn't like to bring anything across the Tanami......
And I think you need a permit or certification of where it come from in a lot of cases.

No Rebecca, you can enter NT form WA and take your fruit and veges with you, with reservations. This will tell you all you need to know http://www.quarantinedomestic.gov.au/destination-northern-territory.html
