Wondering if anybody has travelled the southern/eastern side of the Wilcannia to Bourke via Tilpa and Louth road since the rains received in the area a couple of weeks ago.

If you have, is it rutted from heavy vehicles by any chance. Your replies on the road condition will be appreciated.

Thank you. P&J

Hi P & J,
I traveled from Wilcannia to Louth on the eastern side towing a caravan 2 weeks ago (last days of the NSW school holidays)
The road was in good condition.

Hi William,

Thanks for the reply and the photo. If it's still like that, it looks good enough for me.

What's the bush/off road camping by the river like before Tilpa ?

Cheers P&J

I didn't camp there but from memory there was some good spots at the weir.

We travelled all the way down the Darling, through those places and most of the roads were okay 4 weeks ago. Not sure now.
