Review: El Dorado Tourist Park

Ensuite caravan site - pet friendly park - Arrived Friday 4 March, 2011 for a week; pre-booked for close proximity to Family. Ensuite, although clean, was so small, you could turn on the shower while sitting on the toilet and the distance from the ensuite door to the vanity basin was less than the distance from my head to my hips requiring me to open the door to wash my face in the basin. There was a concrete annex pad, but where the caravan was parked was not level or grassed, requiring jacking. Access roads were the same material as sites - clay/ant-bed - and although there was a drought, normal guest usage made everything inside and out, dusty. Some guests were parked on their annex pad to get a level van. On-site ensuite cabins were spacious and comfortable, but furnishings were old and like the ensuite sites, should have been updated for the prices charged. We stay elsewhere on our Geelong visits.
