Howdy all,
Looking at travelling to WA in March next year (from Syd) and was looking for alternate routes back
home (not wanting to use Eyre Hwy both ways as we will come in that way).
Was hoping to drive Anne Beadell Hwy back but think it may still be too hot??? Was also looking at
Great Central Road thereby also visiting Uluru on way back.
Any ideas / alternate routes would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Lester.

G'day Lester, it won't be too hot,
well, not what I'd call too hot anyway, but you would have to watch the weather as March can be very wet through here, and whilst the GCR could close for a couple of days, being an inconvenience, getting stuck on the AB could be worse than just an inconvenience. Not impossible though, as I say, just watch the weather before you go.
Cheers
Al
