We will be travelling from Victoria into SA, SA into NT and NT into Queensland over the next 7 weeks.
What are the regulations regarding carrying fruit and vegetables between those States?

We got stopped in the Vic, SA border at the checkpoint. Pretty much everything not frozen or in a tin was removed. They will give you a leaflet if you ask for future border crossings.

better off eating it all before you get to these borders, can always get more as you need as you go.

Hi,
The really strange thing is that you are not allowed to take fruit etc into the state but Woolworths and Coles can drive their trucks loaded with fruit etc right past the checking station!
What have they sprayed the goods with to make them safe?

Producers who send their produce in quarantine areas have to go though a vigorous certification programme, you can be assured that the produce on that Coles or Woolies truck has the correct documentation, they just cannot risk being shut down for undocumented food.

Here is the certification programme for entry into WA
