On our way back from an epic journey to the Geo Centre and its 28 degrees C and 100% Blue skies, the rain starts south of
Broken Hill and doesn't stop, and next day we get our wheels in the snow near
Buxton in Victoria.
While we missed out on the wintery blast cutting across Vic its left some snow on the ground with more to follow today.
To get to get take the Mt Margret road a few km towards Marysville from
Buxton.
There has been roadworks in the area and temporay road closures as per a sign however the road closures were removed and its a lovely drive at the moment and probably over this weekend.
We even came across some locals sitting in the snow with glasses of chardonay.
