Review: 4WD Australia

I absolutely love this book. We are going on a family 4wd trip for several months next year and this is exactly what we needed for our planning. The way the book is organised as a journey around Australia in segments that you can do individually or as a major round Australia trip is very helpful to people going out for a month or more. It greatly simplifies the process of trying to piece together individual treks and figuring which can be joined together etc. I found even the basic info at the front of the book very helpful in thinking through our trip, as I have only done one-day 4WD trips in the past. The book has left me drooling to do all of the big tracks around Australia, though I will have to do it in sections as I can't spare the 2 years the authors suggest are necessary to do it properly in one go.
