Spot connect doesn't list Australia

Hi All,

Just wondered if anyone had had issues with setting up australian numbers on the spot connect? I thought I had entered them correctly on the computer Spot account but when I look at them with the device paired it is saying the country is the CoCos islands. Which whilst Australian have a different code. I tried to change it but Australia is not a listed country?????

I have a Spot 2 and when putting in phone numbers you have to enter the country code, 61 for Aus, and drop the leading 0. eg 0427 xxx xxx becomes 61427 xxx xxx. Is this what you mean? or are you talking about pairing with a mobile phone.

Yeah I am talking pairing with a mobile. I tried to manually enter the + 61 but it wouldn't let me. I had to choose a country. Can"t believe Aust isn't there???

Thanks quite useful if I could find Australia in drop down menu. If anyone out there has a Spot Connect paired with a phone can you check if yours has Australia please?

I have a SPOT Connect.
I add my contacts to my account from the web page (on my home computer before heading off on a trip)
Australia is definitely on the drop down list at that site. I just checked it it now.

Just to clarify
When looking at the paired device - best to look at the groups (as you can only send messages to groups) Select a group and you should see the contacts in for following format
Groups
Joe Bloggs (+61-4135840...
Joe Bloggs (joeblogs@liv...

the format for Contacts should look like this
Phone 492731011
Country Cocos (Keeling)
Email joe.bloggs@

These ones will work. i have found the others fail.
