Mulgaria to Andamooka

Hi All Travellers
Has anybody managed to get through from
Mulgaria to
Andamooka via the track that runs around the top of
Lake Torrens? Have sent email
Mulgaria Stn but have not had any reply. Looks a shorter route than via the
Oodnadatta track and Borefield road.
Any info would be appreciated, going up that way in September.

Hi,
From memory I believe the travel through
Mulgaria Stn was stopped by the owners some time ago. We tried but had to go via the
bore field and Maree.
May have changed now.

will cost you about $25 to access track,you can pay I believe at the bottle
shop at
Andamooka if travelling north and via a phone call for permission and payment methods at
Mulgaria station (there're out working during the day and wont answer the phone probably)

Any further info on track access,I'm coming across conflicting information that changes between "closed" and "just drive through",anyone else have better info,a archived bit of info suggested the
post office would know more but thats a couple of years ago.
