Hi all, i'm Darcy.
I'm planning a camp for a social group that I organize and I was wondering if anyone here knows of any good (and secluded) campgrounds in the northern NSW area?
We need:
Toilets, Showers, campfires permitted and for the campground to be very small and private. Not to be greedy, but our goal is to have the whole campground to ourselves.
We're looking at going end of January, beginning of February, 2014.

Thanks in advance!
Darcy.

Hi Darcy,

there's a group on facebook called Youcamp. Click that link and have a look. It might help you.

Steve, it's not much good throwing Facebook links at us. A lot of us are not on Facebook and thus can not access your info. Do they have a real web site?

G'day Peter,

you don't have to be on facebook to access the link, but here is the youcamp website.

I hope it is useful to anyone.

Darcy

You need to provide a few more details
West of the Great Divide or "coastal"
On a river or not?
Northern NSW is probably over 600km North- south, can you be more precise?
What activities do you want to do and facilities (not sure what you mean by toilets and showers permitted)are you after?
Access, do you want it to be 4WD & tents or suitable roads for cars towing caravans?
Roughly how many people?

Secluded, what do you mean by that, whole property or no one within say 300m?

Hi Mark,
I think that he means there must be toilets and showers, and that campfires are permitted.

Campgrounds are not normally private. You probably need to be on private land to have privacy.
