Review: Old Eyre Highway

Thanks for posting this trek. I crossed the Nullabor three times between 1969 and 1973 (once in a 1960 XK Falcon and twice in a 1963 VW Beetle) when it was still dirt between Eucla and Ceduna and reading this article brings back memories of what a horror stretch it was, especially in a standard car. It wasn't a matter of IF something would break it was a matter if WHAT would break, WHERE you would be when it broke and HOW MUCH it would cost you to get going again. And at the age of 17 to 20 the trip was always done on a tight budget! Thanks for the link to the video also; I'd forgotten all about that very daggy show!
