Caravan Storage close to Melbourne

Good Evening Forumites,
Can any one out there advise me of a safe, but affordable storage for 2 caravans. if we could get somewhere near the Spirit of Tas dock would be great. As much as we would love to take it across and do Tas, being a
young family we cant justify the extra $$$ to get it there. We will only require storage for a maximum of 3 weeks.

Hi Daniel, just looked at
forum, you may already have your answer, but this Qn has popped up before-do a search in
forum. Your correct, fair bit extra for van on ferry and it complicates accomodation needs when on island. may need to book as
well if busy season. also
check our c/van parks, truck storage(hard stand), c/van repair/dealers, self store+lock facilities and INet . Did same thing myself, vaguely remember it was a c/van dealer/repair yard he was happy for us to use storage area available at rear for 4 wks, some distance out but, near Narrawarren if I remember correctly. Got train back to city. Tassie is nice-have a good trip.

Hi Mike,
Thankyou for your reply. I got on to the caravan storage mob in the above mentioned thread. he gave a very good price and is only 35 - 45 mins from the Spirit dock. as we are doing the evening sail this is as close to perfect for us as I can find.
