Gday all just wondering if anyone knows if you can get digital tv reception in Sapphire or do you need a vast satellite receiver box.

As it's a bit over 30 clicks from
Emerald, with a fringe type antenna, you should be able to pick it up.
Doubt if Sapphire would have their own transmitter, unless sale of gems has gone up lately. A Vast decoder might be a cheaper alternative to messing around with antennas and masts etc.

Thanks for that Bob I already have the mast and antenna that is why I am asking if you get reception or not it cost me $100 all up I am going to set myself up with the vast sometime in the future cost around $700 for all the gear you need sat dish and decoder I was just hoping that one of the followers of this
forum might have been to sapphire recently and knew whether you could pick up the terrestrial signal with a normal antenna.
