I purchased a "ute extender" from ebay last month (I posted the ebay link here but my thread was removed?) and it shows that the extender can be mounted horizontaly.
I was wondering if this was legal in the state of NSW

I found out today that in NSW the load must not protrude more than 1200mm from the furthest part of the vehicle.I assume that means you cant have more than 1200mm sticking out from the back.
