Bad Service at SUPERCRAP

Went to Supercrap in Maryborough this afternoon to get a set of wiper blades for the daughters Yaris, coundn't find a set of 3, the so called shop assistant,( looked like something out of a horror movie) assures me the set of 2 long ones that says yaris on the wrapper will do the trick, just cut the long one to use for the short front one and the rear window, not convinced but he said no worries if they don't fit bring them back, well about an hour later guess where we are, yep thats right back at SC, I tell the girl at the counter the story and ask for money back, well thats when the fun started, she calls the tattooed zombi to get his side of the story and of course it is totally different to what he told me, after a very short but very heated exchange with zombi, manager decides its probably not a good idea for me to be in the store any longer so gives money back, I go 3 doors up the road to REPCO, a very nice, very young lady serves me, in no time at all we have 3 wiper blades fitted for nothing and $3.00 cheaper than Supercrap. REPCO all the way from now on.

And Repco in SA, plus 10% discount if you are in the RAA.

Have not had any trouble/problems with Supercheap in SA

Supercheap are bleep e, not long ago I bought a cheapo socket set when they were on sale but took it back (the following weekend) because there was a crack in the ratchet head. So I take it back and say I want another and she goes, "no problem, you will just have to pay a bit extra because that item is no longer on sale"

I said WTF, sale price is sale price, not my fault the item was faulty, give me another ratchet or I want to see the manager.

I got my new ratchet without paying any extra. But it was a lesson for me to not go back there again.

I have had no problems with sca but in my experience you usually get a better quality product and better, more knowledgable staff at Repco.

Ridiculous responses on here when Rosss, clearly, was given a bodyswerve by a deceiptful staff member, unless he was making it all up and some people on the internet know what really happened.

It may come as a shock to some, but most businesses still expect their staff to look presentable to the public.

I don't go there often, the reason we went, my daughter joined the supercheap club when they had a promotion just after she got her licence, I thought how far wrong can you go on a set of wiper blades that will be he same brand that everybody stocks, if you want to start insulting people that you don't know we will get the moderators involved, I have been involved in retail all my life and there are ways to treat customers with respect even if you think they are wrong.

I agree. Discriminating against someone for how they look is abhorrnet now days. Bad service is bad service regardless of their race, gender, political status or whatever.
Do you expect great service from the maccas staff? I dont, because I know they are just starting out. Supercheap are mostly people with little to no customer service skills so dont expect the most postive experience. More than likely you will know more about the items they sell then they do.

By all means involve moderators if you feel you can defend your post.

We should complain when we receive bad services. So it can be improved.

I really don't care if you think it is bigotry or not, you obviously know nothing about first point of contact in retail, income is lost in many places because general public don't like what they see at the front counter, it is all very well for people to say they have the right to look or act differently but the bottom line is if people don't like what they see they will go elsewhere. If you can afford to lose business because you don't care what your staff look like go for it. I have decided your opinion really doesn't matter. Have a nice day.

I have never had a problem with Super Cheap, I think it's a bit rough your comments about the guy...... wounder if he thought "that old fart who can't hear, see properly or remember where he left his car".....

Most issues can be traced back to the grumpy customer who doesn't want to listen..... and no the customer is not always right.

Instead of bitching here why not take it up with Super Cheap management.

One bad employee can be concern and I'm sure not all Super Cheap employees are the same...... just the same as not all customers are the same.

Oh and by the way I'm not old, not deaf and I can remember where the car is, and I wasn't grumpy when I first went into the store, my problem was this bloke blatantly lied to the manager and the other staff about what he told me.

Well thats what he looked like to me. If SC want this as there image thats there problem. I really don't think I would bother coming into your store, its probably full of the same as well as all the illegal imports that think they have a right to live in Oz
