My Shop Item Rating:
We recently purchased this book upon recommendation from another EO member. We found it very useful to verify tracks we came across and used in conjunction with topo mapping steered us in some directions we may not have taken otherwise. Covers a lot in one book so detail for specific areas is limited, but certainly sufficient and reliable. An excellent overview of options to take in this area. My only gripe is finding your way in the book - the order suits east-west bound travellers and if trying to go back to find a page, it is hard to re-find it. Also this is the first book I've ever found with detailed trek notes for the Trans Australia Railway - a track that has been impossible to gain permission to use since 2000.
