A happy ending....

Bought a Donaldson PreCleaner for our trip to the Simpson in July. On the trip it developed a crack when the snorkel mount bend to meet the base of the bowl. Patched it up and finished the trip with it (works great by the way)

Returned it to the shop with receipt. They contacted the distributor and we sent it off. The distributor rejected the warranty claim, stating it was from general wear and tear despite only being two months old.

Contacted Donaldson who were not happy with how the distributor had handled it, sent some photos of the product (they didn't even ask for the receipt) and my new one arrived yesterday....
