Hi could anyone tell why 100 series IFS wheels won't fit a live axle 2006 ute.

as mentioned above, it's to do with the offset of the rims. Live Axle vehicles have a zero offset and IFS have something like +60mm offset from memory (i can't recall what it is exactly). so the IFS rims put the tyre further "in" than that of the live axle rim and it then fouls on components of the vehicle.

Get some 105 series GXL wheels they fit fine.

Surprisingly enough, I found Toyota to be the cheapest to buy them from. $100 each.
