My Place Rating:
A very enjoyable spot to
camp in Summer with shady trees and shallow water for paddling in.
Beware falling branches from the pine trees though - they sound like gunshots when they hit the ground at 2am!
Nanga Brook is a freshwater stream that joins the saline
Murray River further downstream.
We have used the water from
Nanga Brook for washing our bodies and our clothes.
If you need to use it for cooking or drinking it is essential to boil it first.
The tap near the
toilet block was in disrepair last time we were there.
