bushman fridge runs every 5 mins?

Hi, our fridge seems to be running every 5 mins for approximately 4-5 mins, its set at 3 degrees and is 90% full, running on 240v, runs the same on 12v. Ambient temp is about 15 degrees. Seals are working fine too. We've only just picked it up second hand and would appreciate if anyone can advise, thanks.

Short cycling can be due to low refrigerant. Does it have a gas leak? My fridge with a Danfoss BD35 compressor has a schraeder valve in the filler fitting. If that is mishandled (by the previous owner, perhaps) gas can escape through that.

Faulty thermostat or electronics?

Cheers

Is the inside temp about 3 degrees. If so the thermostat is working ok. Have you asked Bushman if this is the right cycle?

Thanks for your replys, temp is set at 3 degrees and it operates a couple of degrees either side as outlined on their website, cycles as soon as the temp runs 2 degrees above set on the digital display, which is about every 4-5 mins & seemed to be too frequent considering ambient temps, we were hoping of some idea as we haven't owned a portable fridge before and appreciate the feedback.
