Have been reading the recent threads on vehicle insurance increases (PostID: 9954 & others) and have been dreading mine as I new it was due anyday for both cars. We are quick to bag these companies when they take, take, take but to my surprise my Challenger has dropped less than $1000- in agreed value but the premium has reduced from $662- to $577 and the Terios from $538- to $436-. (obviously max NCB). It almost pains me to say so but Congratulations and Well done TCIS and CGU. I should add that in the past I've made a car claim and a Contents claim through CGU and they couldn't have been better, quick to pay & minimum of fuss. Here's Mud in your Tyre

Yeah, i just renewed my cgu policy through the broker, with windscreen cover at $50 ( covers any window, one a year) and rating one protection at $60 the total was $ 620. Grouse. Best thing is reading the policy conditions, - vehicle is covered doing 'anything that the vehicle is designed to do' . Even Grouser ( i english speak good ) Oh yeah the quote to go direct with cgu with out all the extra goodies was $650. More than happy with them..Moo... everyone knows what a Jackaroo looks like :-)
