Gas struts for 2013 D MAX bonnet

HI there in wondering if any one has done or knows if gas struts can be installed on the bonnet of the current D MAX.I taking delivery of a LS_U auto space cab early Oct and when asked the sales person about this they looked at me like was stupid,and told me no one has ever asked that before.

Have a look at thread 97961.
Serendipity fitted a set to 70 series Toyota and gave some very good info on this thread - which I followed and helped an old guy fit a set to his 20 year old Patrol.

I have a new DMax and don't have a problem with the bonnet support. Can I ask why you would like to fit gas struts?

Hi there Scooby no reason in particular except that im used to the easy lift bonnet on my Commodore and was wondering if it was possible thats all
