You would not be alone :-) Had a heck of a time finding it on my Rodeo to fit a chip. Mine was down under the Intake near the starter motor. Should have all the fuel feeders connected to it :-)))

Best of luck - Regards Tony

Rusty, I had a 2006 GU3L motor until recently, it did not have a fuel rail, each cylinder had its own injector fed from injector pump. I think it was the 2007 that came out with a common rail injecter system.

And if it is common rail NEVER disconnect the rail when the engine is running...... unless you want to lose fingers.

Thanks for your help.
Could anyone tell me where to put the chip then? It's a "no limit tuning" one...

Cheers.

Is it a 'plug-n-play' type? I have a Steinbeur chip on my Patrol and it plugs into the injector pump, all you do is unplug the existing wiring harness plug in the chip then plug the original harness into the chip.
