Hi, I am planning to take 100 primary school children on two coaches to
Hill End approaching from the north. The Coach company is not happy about travelling on this road. I have only ever been to
Hill End from the south. Does anyone know the condition of this road. I had heard that thye had been sealing lengths of it.
Thanks
Peter
Yes I am a teacher and I love taking kids travellng to explore our country away from the cities. Give them the travel bug early!

Narrow and winding a little of the way, but tar most of the way, only about 10 to 20k of dirt but a fairly good road all the way to
Hill End.

They might be scared of 100 kids and not the road.
Good luck

Now that would be telling!!
We like to just sneak up and surprise people.
Don't worry, Thge creeks around
Hill End are big enough to get lost in.
Hill End once had a massive
population - although there were a lot more pubs then.
