Got a small issue with front bag end awning lifting off the front of camper. Ripped off when not unclipped properly when raising roof. There appears to be only a tiny screw on each end and glue (possibly silicone) holding it on. Am I going mad?

Can I just re-glue, re-screw and all is ok?

Thanks in advance.

Hi thumbs, assume you don't want to spend $ on a Jayco or repair shop? ..otherwise if that's how the bag end awning looks like its put together, then you could try it. I believe you can buy silicon glue. OR.. be cheeky, go to a yard or c/van show, look at a new or 2nd hand one ( there all on display), see how its affixed .

take the screw out of one end and slide the bag back in. put the screw back in . it shouldn't need any glue. I think they are called sail tracks .
