Has anyone tried the device called a BATTERY CURRENT SAVER put out by VGR Electronics , it is a 12 volt timer to switch the supply to a 12 volt fridge on/off every 30 minutes so the fridge does less start up cycles and wasting power on start current and running time waiting on head pressures to build up I believe all its for is to make the temperature diverential big so there is less start ups

Hello greenant, yes i have one of these, installed it on my evercool fridgein my case it caused the temp to vary wildly the food went from freeze/thaw/freeze/thaw,i was concerned that food would spoil.was unable to maintain steady freezing temps.I have now removed the unit and fridge works fine.

others may have better results with other types of fridges, the after sales service is ok,try one i think you can return it if it doesent work for you but check first.
