Due to an early departure from Kings Canyon, we phoned to alter our booking here - no problem, all done in seconds!
On arrival, the reception was pleasant and
well managed. We were allocated a site but found that it was already occupied. Rang reception, it was investigated and the occupiers had forgotten to extend their stay. Had a spare site alongside them, so we were reallocated that. Again, all sorted in a minute or two.
Only 2 amenities blocks for the van
park (and one for the tents, as I understand it) which included the coach loads of school kids. When gastro was diagnosed on one bus, the male section of one block was cordoned off for the sufferers to use exclusively. Meant quite a hike to
the block on the other side of the
park! They need to open another block, since the van
park was quite full when we were there (29 Oct 2013).
Easy access to
Kata Tjuta and Uluru. A 3 day
park pass was $25 each buy it at the
Park gate.
