Just wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for an easy on the pocket but good mechanic/radiator specialist in Adelaide? We are heading that way in the next few days and have tried a radiator flush but still battling a bit of over heating so looking to get a service done. Of course Summer is no time to travel north, but we will be! 1980 Toyota Toyace Motorhome is our wheels.
Cheers all!

Baran&Betsie,

I don't know where you're staying when you get here.
This place is pretty good. I just worked out that I've been taking radiators there for 47 years!! Never had a reason to doubt their integrity.

There are plenty of good radiator places in Adelaide. After all the weather gets pretty hot here and the SE freeway is pretty steep.

In the centre of Adelaide, Motor Radiators at 15-19 Halifax St, Adelaide SA 5000 were fantastic when we had an overheating problem on my daughter's 80series. They checked out the radiator, found it was 60% blocked and took the time to fix it by rodding out the core instead of replacing it with a cheap chinese radiator. They also replaced the top tank (plastic) because it had discoloured and did so with a good second-hand tank, saving a lot of $$. That radiator is now with the vehicle in Qld and 4 years later is as good as the day they fixed it.

Also Glynde Radiators 19 Provident Ave, Glynde SA 5070 were good to me in the past, and Goughs Radiators Unit 4/ 2 Barrpowell St, Welland SA 5007 have been good to me too.

Cheers
Phil

Motor Radiators might have changed owners since I last used them and looks like they don't deal with normal vehicles any more.

Thanks both for the info. We've been a bit out of range and power as these things go!

Got our snail on wheels into Port Adelaide Radiators and whilst they are going to keep her a few days we'll have her back healthy again soon!

Cheers!
