Pat Callinan's Advanced Guide is so much more than the anticipated 4X4 recovery techniques. Great advice also to be found on Vehicle Preparation, Communications, Basic Repairs and Navigation Options. It's size is handy (A3), has page tabs as index finders, a hard cover for durability and is
well illustrated plus the usual anecdotal stuff you expect from Mr. 4X4.
