Hi all, can anyone help me, I need to buy a weight distribution system, but I'm a little puzzled with the shank size. I have a 2007 pajero with the spare wheel in the middle, I have raised the height of the wheel, but need to know the type and size shank I need to clear it, does anyone know? I'm in
Adelaide and we lack a lot of good knowledgeable help at the caravan shops here, no help at all. any help here would be very greatfull.
Andy

Try one of the specialist towbar suppliers....they carry a range of sizings and configurations in most towing components so they can correctly set up a wide variety of rigs. Think I went to Southern Towbars.

I agree with Darian here on that one as
well.
tobar specialists are the ones to see.
Local van people only know how to sell and make $$$$$

We have a 2008 NS Pajero with the spare wheel in the middle. It is not raised. We have a Hayman Reese WDH onto a Jayco Outback trailer (ie higher than a standard van) with a bulky Trigg hitch. The HR WDH is adjustable for height, and we can get the back door open about half way without a problem; it touchs the handbrake lever on the van. The Jayco van is perfectly level when towing.

Hi Andyq,
Not sure if you have purchased your equipment yet. I recently dealt with Halls Tow Bars (Blair Athol), after making enqiries around.
Was for my BT50 and X Country Crusader. Pretty happy with the price that I paid and the service that I received.
